BLUEY
Community sculpture launch
The launch of BLUEY, a new permanent sculpture commissioned for Milton Keynes City Council, transformed the Redway adjacent to the Blue Lagoon Local Nature Reserve into a site of creative celebration. Kerry engaged residents in a range of curated activities including chalk drawing, bespoke cycle decorating and botanical rubbings - including the sculpture’s intricate hand-drawn study of the locally rare black poplar tree. The sculpture has an integrated QR code offering further insight into the region’s arboreal heritage and the earlier community project "Rooted in Time".
