Overview
St Bees and Blue Yorkstone

Inspired by the iconic (1865) stone water fountain at nearby Duppas Hill. The interactive butterfly rubbings were informed by the clever pupils at nearby Aerodrome Primary Academy pupils. The integrated QR code animates the sculpture with further information and interactive games to encourage deeper engagement with the local ecology. The tactile surface is a place where residents, current and future pupils can return again and again to take home a print of my drawing.
